Pay by airport. Not by hotel.

Because that is how you already think about your business. An airport is a market - it has its own zone scheme, its own rate sheet, its own hotel file from Expedia. You know your airport count without looking it up; you would have to open a spreadsheet and count rows to know your hotel count. The work of setting up and maintaining a market is per-airport, so that is what we charge for.

Any airport you have opened as a market. Opening one is permanent: you can keep up to 5 projects there at a time, and deleting them does not close the market, so you can wipe an old file and rebuild it later at no extra cost. You keep every market you have opened. If you genuinely need to hand one back you can release up to 2 a year on a paid plan (during the free trial, contact support), and releasing is separate from billing - your plan only gets smaller when you reduce it from your profile, from the next renewal, and never below the markets you hold.

Up to 5 at a time on every plan, the trial included. That is room for the file you work from, the next revision, a second product with its own zones and a copy to try things in. Deleting a project frees its place, and you can come back to the market whenever you like. A plan covers your own company's work in its airports. No. Zone 400 hotels at an airport or 10,000 - the price is the same. Hotel volume is your business, not our meter.

No. Every plan, including the trial, includes up to 5 users, the account owner among them. Invite colleagues by email from the Team page as admins, who can also add airports and manage the team; members, who edit every project in the airports you already hold; or viewers, who can open and export but change nothing. Members and viewers can have every project or only the ones you choose. The plan and the card stay with the account owner, so adding a person never changes the bill. Need room for more than 5? Setting up your first airport takes real work, so that one is $65 - that is Solo. After that you are mostly repeating a pattern you have already established, so each airport after it is $10, not another $65. At 5 airports you pay about $21 per airport; at 25, about $12. Above 25 airports we quote directly.

Yes. A yearly plan is the same price billed for 10 months, so 2 months are free: Solo is $650 a year, and 25 airports, the largest plan you can buy here, is $3,050 a year. Airports you add during the year are charged for the part of the year that is left. Cancelling a yearly plan keeps it running to the end of the year you paid for, and you can switch between monthly and yearly in the billing portal.

No. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial on one airport - every feature, no card. The clock starts when you open your first airport, not when you sign up, so take your time setting up. When the trial ends nothing is deleted: your work stays there to open and export, read-only, until you choose a plan. One airport is $65 a month on Solo.

No. GroundZones is where your hotel association files live between updates. Expedia sends you a new hotel file, you merge it into the one you already zoned, re-zone what changed, and export it back in the same column layout you started with. Your Expedia setup is untouched.

Yes - your first airport, on any plan including the trial. Once you have an account, email your hotel file to support@groundzones.com from the address you signed up with. Tell us the airport and how you zone it today: a rate sheet, a ZIP code list, or a map with the zones drawn on it. We load the hotels, place them on the map and draft the zones for you to check, within 3 business days, usually the same day. Your 14-day trial starts when the airport is opened, whether you open it or we do.

No. Rules are there to do the boring first pass, but plenty of markets are faster to zone by hand: box-select a district on the map and set the whole selection to one zone. Use rules, use selection, or use both - nothing is required.

Nothing is deleted. Your account becomes read-only, so every file is still there to open and export - CSV or XLSX, any file, any point in its history. One click from your profile page to cancel. No retention email, no exit interview.
